Аннотация
The article examines the origins of legal advocacy through its function of mediating between individuals and the law. Drawing on Roman sources, al-Marghinani’s al-Hidaya and the practice of qadi courts in Turkestan, it argues that publishing legal rules does not remove information asymmetry but shifts it to interpretation and procedure, and that the enduring function of advocacy is a bridging one.

Postsovet davlatlarida bitta atama ikki turdagi turli huquqiy institutlarni ifodalashi ko‘rsatilib, terminologik aniqlik bo‘yicha takliflar berilgan.
